AMC coming to Bell TV on November 11th

987654321, not sure how Bell's AMC HD will be, but since Shaw started showing the actual AMC HD channel, not an upconverted one they'd been showing since it launched, all movies are now in HD.

Shaw switched to the actual AMC HD channel a couple of days ago.

Also, for Mad Men fans, they re-run the crap out of it, so odds are you'll get to see some of it.

I don't know what all the hype and demand was for this channel. The Movietime channel is very similar in what/how they broadcast movies, although not in HD.

    Am I missing something?

Then shame on Bell for trying to sell it in package with the pay movie channels.

But Shaw Broadcast (SBS) didn't - they only switch for Madmen, etc - so Shaw Direct and Rogers customers are seeing movies stre.........................................tched .

It's there because they're packaging it more with the US Superstations than as a premium movie channel.

I was surprised to see it in there, myself.

So has it shown up yet? No longer have BTV and was just curious if it had shown up yet?

Also wasn't there something else that was suppose to happen with Bell or BTV today? Can't remeber what it was?

AMC coming to Bell TV on November 11th

Season Four of Mad Men will debut in 2010.

NOTE: SORRY, I previously said Season Four of Mad Men will debut on November 15th. Actually the Prisoner will debut on November 15th and Mad Men will debut in 2010

Looking forward to "The Prisoner" series reboot...it looks good from what I've read.

    It's apparently a six episode mini-series.

I really liked the original series when I was younger

PVR is a pain. You have to play with the buttons on the PVR remote at each commerical break and hope you time it right so you don't miss part of the movie scene after skipping commericals. When I watch a movie I don't want to have to touch a remote or play with buttons. AMC should be commerical free. Overall, I wouldn't pay a dollar for AMC.

Not enough difference in the picture to motivate the finding of the remote to change both were great!
