All the channels I ever need are on my Favourites theme so I actually never punch in the channel numbers.

I certainly like the way Dish does the channel mapping in the guide with
the HD above the SD. The neat thing is that when you enter the SD
channel number you get HD channel.
One would think Bev would do the same!!
In testing phase:
1234 WSBKH
1236 CW11H
1238 KTLAH
Coming real soon to Bell.
Any info on where you see these channels are coming? Any idea if they will be part of the HD packages or will you need to subscribe to the SD channels. Will they have a free preview? Will they sell them seperate from the movie networks?
If the series episodes are marked correctly, the PVR will skip duplicates regardless of which channel they are on or what time they are aired. The same is true for shows that exist on the PVR drive, but not shows on the external drive. If the show is being recorded twice, there is an error in the guide info for the show. Duplicate recordings can be skipped and skipped recordings restored by selecting the show in the daily schedule. (Press PVR twice to get to the daily schedule.)
Correct. I find it easier just to go through the guide and create all the new timers first and then matching them up with the old timers. Deleting them all first would be even easier but then I run into issues of missed timers and recordings.
Can someone report what channels we are supposed to see right now.
I only see the networks and sports in the 1000's...yet I have everything in the 800's.
Same here. My short list of just 30 or so Favourites can be scrolled though and wrapped around in just seconds.
I never watch Live TV. I always record everything, and then choose it to watch from the PVR menu. The occasional 1000 channel that I might go to has no adverse affect on me.
Well...Lyngsat is usually quite acurate, but I see they have quite a few wrong channel numbers listed...
TSN2-HD is not on 848, nor is Rogers Sportsnet 1-HD on 851...and the list was last updated on October 19, yet still no mention of any channels in the 1000's?
No one said lyngsat is perfectly up to date. It is a nice reference but dc17 has the best solution. Lyngsat offers more information than the average person needs to know which I thought the op might like to see, and from his thank-you I believe that was the result.
