Expressvu price increase

i haven't heard any rumours about a price increase (internal)...but, we don't usually hear about it until closer to the actual date.

i would recommend everyone take it with a grain of salt...even if these are the "intended" price increases, things can change before it gets introduced anyway, making all this info worthless.

defiant, that would be most interesting because when bell switched to the new programming packages that exist today, subs with grandfathered packages such as ultimate 7, 9, etc were told they needed to switch by jan. 1, 2006

This just might be their last ditch effort to try and turn a buck after all those years of losses.
I bet papa BCE said get in the black or be sold.
Now we know why the new receivers came so cheap.
Either it didn't really matter because they were already doomed and they just wanted to screw with *C or they had always planned to rape the average customer to pay for the elite few.

I am not a sub yet but am contemplating on being a sub. So I"m not entirely sure I read this right.

Suppose I sign up before Sep 30 and get the sports combo + HD, my fee will be $55. With the $2 increase, it will become $57 after Dec 31, 2005, is that right?

For the next two years, what will happen if I drop or add any theme packs? How much will I be paying for the sports combo + HD?

Also, what's the new combos like Extra Value or HD, could someone provide more information on that please?

That's exactly what I was thinking when I saw the first post. Those price changes do not reflect the simplification move all BCE companies have been undergoing for 2 years now.

I also have not heard a word about these changes so far.
