Thanks SO much for the rookie videos! My speculation is that something interrupts them too. And then she confronts him about them making out or something and that's when he says the "It was what it was." Then the whole "tense relationship" bit from episode 8? I know that ABC has been chopping up lines and placing them randomly, but it seems like it was a line in reference to something personal. Hopefully that would build the relationship a little more slowly...

I dunno, that 'it was what it was' didn't sound soft and nice to me. It sounded very...male. A hook-up, and now a bit of a retreat and a little defensive. Andy to me seemed a hurt and surprised and a bit outraged angry. Gives me a really really bad feeling. They've played them so well so far, but you know sex can throw things off, especially if you have a couple of people who either don't know where the other stands, is afraid of where THEY stand, or wants to avoid anything to much right now. Very very bad feeling. I don't mind them dragging things out a bit,-well I do in a way because who doesn't want more Sam and Andy goodness-but I get the suspense and hope of it and that would be good, but you don't want to see him as a jerk either. Really hope I'm reading that clip wrong all the way around.

It might mean that they finally talk about their feelings with one another, because as we can see they don't exactly talk about it and Andy always gets into situations that has Sam worried. This situation they get put in might just be what puts everything out there in the open. I'm of course just theorizing.

Actually Sam looks more hurt in that video Andy just looks confused, am sure he is the type who doesn't vocalize his feelings but instead acts like its not bothering him when in reality its eating him inside..
