so im leaving for college in a few days and my roommate/good friend is a track runner. now im a big guy about 6'2 300ish. and i need to lose a few pounds. ok more than a few but the real question is should i start slow on my own and work up to being able to take a few miles with my roommate or do like he suggested and get a bike so i can ride along with him as he runs. if its the bike any ideas on what kind to look for for something like that? been awhile since ive bought a bike. thanks
