I am about to sell my iPhone 3G and get the Loft for just $49. Is this a good idea????

Mainly because I like Virgin Mobile's $25 unlimited plan. I currently pay $30 on web alone. But how good is the web on Loft? Is it anywhere as good as iPhone?

How fast in the web? Faster or slower than EDGE??

Also are the websites mobile versions only or can you see reg sites like u can on iPhone?

What about applications? iPhone has thousands of free apps.
