Hi, i need a guitar effects pedal that enables me to make those deep synth sounds like seen on modern dance songs like http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9k1iyptxgfo&feature=related (keisha - tik tok) and http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9k1iyptxgfo&feature=related (gold dust - dj fresh)...

Use a synth is an obvious point but we already have a synth/keyboard player in the band and need a fuller dance sound using the second guitarist (me). Im not sure if I should use MIDI pickup pedals or not, as it would be cool but i dont want to sound like a trumpet, i just need that synth tone and I might be able to do that with thingsd like the POG2 etc...?

Also, any advice on what pedals could sound like the crazy bits in pendulum songs like propane nightmares?
