Jailbreaking voids your warranty. So it is never encouraged by Apple. Whereas unlocking is best when unlocked using safe method. For example, you can visit SuperUnlockCodes.Com to get the remote unlocking service. This method of unlocking is safe, simple, affordable, quick and permanent. It doesn't require a jailbreak too.
