I'd been killing little moths for the past week or two, and I thought they were getting in through tiny gaps in the window screens or something. Well, I saw two little worm-like things climbing up the wall in the kitchen yesterday, and I freaked out and killed them. I then did an internet search, and I found out that they were pantry moth larvae, and that they like to hide out in grain. My Indian roommate has a big bag of imported bulk rice that he bought from an Asian market, and we checked it, and it was full of moths (*shudder*). I now have glue traps set up in the kitchen, and I've been vacuuming up little moths and larvae all day. The bag of rice is currently tied up in two trash bags, and he's considering trying to salvage the rice by freezing it and sifting out the dead moths/larvae! (Isn't that horrid!?) He says he paid $30 for the bag and doesn't want to let it go to waste. Ah, the joys of roommates . . .
@Domo: lol I've said MUCH worse about him. :P
