One is 32k (Condor/2-digit models) and the other is 64k (Falcon/Newer 3-digit models). It allows more flash memory for the phone to access. The 64k is not supported in the older 2-digit phone models, however, the 32k is supported in the newer 3-digit models so long as all software updates have been applied [there were issues with the 1st round of Falcon software].
That clears that up, thanks a lot.
So i wont be missing out on much if i use my i95 sim in my new i830 huh.
Chris
250 phone contacts vs. 600. A bit more flash mem. for ringers and multimedia. That's about it. If you use it for business, and not as a toy, you'll be good.
Well i guess i have one more question to increase my knowledge of sims. If i use RSS or the phone book manager is there a way to transfer my service and everything else to the
Falcon sim card?
It can be done at a NEXTEL Retail Store free of charge with purchase of the SIM. Don't know if you can do for non-NRS purchases, but you can try. I know it can be done because my stepfather did it when he upgraded from an i90c to an i730.
Again thank you for your quick replies. Helped me a lot. I cant wait till my i830 gets here so i can play around with it.
