2 way really worth it?

How is the 39.99 local plan expensive? that includes 500 mintues, unlimted night and weekends, and unlimited DC.

verizon only offers 400 minutes. and you dont get DC over there. i think it's worth it..

thats the plan i got. its ok and works for me. i also got internet service on my phone which is 10$ extra but in the end of the month my bill comes to 70$. nextel is much more expenisive and the service isnt always so great but it does have the direct connect. u should get nextel only if u know alot other people with nextel that u will be calling.

In my opinion nextel is one of the best phones there is outthere. The 2 way radio can get you rapidly going. This way you don't have to wait until the rings and rings and rings. This way you just press the ptt and poof your already talking with you buddy.

As i can see the only way nextel is really worth it is if you use the two way alot.. like for work or for just hanging with your friends.. if you dont need the two way then try to find a cheaper alternative but if you cant get nextel just for the fact that you will have the two way should you ever have the need for it i dont really find my plan to expencive but then again i dont pay for it.. i have the local instant connect with 500 any time and unlimited night and weekend and unlimited two way it ends up being like 32 a month a after my discount and thats with caller id and voice mail
