    Traceable?

Ok, so I bought a new phone. The i305. If my phone is stolen and someone else that has a nextel account puts there sim card in my phone is there a way to trace it?

    Traceable?

no. You could track it if you subscribe to the mobilephone locator but that is only if they left your sim in it.

Nextel is tring to make an effort to stop stolen phones. Now all phones that come in for acivation or service/repair will be checked to see if they are stolen.

    Traceable?

If you know somebody... sure! I do it all the time... but otherwise ... it probably won't happen... cell phone thieves aren't exactly a high priority...
