Set Phone Back to Default (Erase Contacts)

This works with most verizon phones and is very useful if you want to sell the phone:

    • OK
    • Settings & Tools
    • Phone Settings (or System Settings)
    • Security
    • Enter last 4 digits of your number
    • Reset Default (or Erase Contacts, or Both)

Set Phone Back to Default (Erase Contacts)

that method seems to work on the newer phones but i had a motorola razor and there wasn't a reset in security but i found another way, do the following:

    1. go to the menu
    2. go to settings and tools
    3. go down to initial setup
    4. the last one will say master clear
    5. enter your security code and you can erase all your contacts at once

if you don't know your security code try 000000
