When I went to Canada a couple months ago I called my carrier and added Canada to my national plan for 20 bucks as I use my BB a ton. This saved me approx.150 over 3 days(I told I use my BB a lot). Pays to call your carrier before you wander off too far.

If Edge showed up in the carrier field, you were probably roaming on the Edge Wireless network. Apparently TMO has a roaming agreement with them.

Also you don't get charged anything extra from Tmobile for data roaming within the US. I have seen though that our roaming partners will sometimes charge you for using their data service

Sounds like you were picking up EDGE wireless in WY. on that carrier in 1900 Mhz the per MB charge is 10.00 unless you are using tzones. On many roaming carriers that T-mobile has an agreement with there are no charges but in the case of EDGE wireless there are data charges that would be applicable to your usage

Just an update, my bill didn't have any roaming charges so it looks like i'm in the clear...which is a big relief.
