I just got it, and I came right on here to see what was up with it. I was excited for there to be an actual update... now I'm kinda disappointed

This is the DST patch. Last year it was found that the blackberries didn't auto update with daylight savings on the network. There was a patch available that solved the issue. Most phones with the new OS already have the DST included. As a precaution, we are still sending the update reminders for those customers that don't have the log up an update. Most of you have it and can disregard the txt.

Hmmm... I do get T-Mo text messages from time to time (mostly on non-Blackberry devices), but I haven't gotten any re the DST patch. The fact is, back then I applied the DST patch and it KILLED MY BB -- luckily I was able to remove it and get back to normal. I am not going to risk it again
