$18 upgrade fee is no more!!

Although this may be old news to most, still wanted to get it posted for those that are looking to upgrade in the future and maybe missed the news.

As of last night, the $18 upgrade fee has been terminated. Now a free phone is actually going to be free. (cheap skate customers rejoice!!)

From the email that was sent, (although this was copied from tmonews, and also reported on boygenius and many other places):“We have received feedback from you on behalf of our customers that the $18 Handset Upgrade Fee is a real customer diss atisfier. Based on your feedback, we are eliminiating the $18 Handset Upgrade Free effective immediately.”

So there you have it. Also, if you have upgraded in the last 14 days, you should be able to call and get it credited to you account.

I should have waited to get my 8220 LOL Instead, I upgraded this past May for the 8120 and had to pay the upgrade fee
