Yeah, you are right you forgot to put down seniors. I think she was about 70, had really thick glasses (coke bottle), could hardly walk and was dumb enough to think it was my fault. The witnesses didn't see it her way and neither did the police. Her insurance company did cut me a check. As far as i'm concerned it wasn't enough. Years later I still feel the consequences from time to time.
Down twice, very hard!! Too many close calls to count!!!
How about a drunk walking in the middle of the road at 2 AM, does that qualify as animal?
depends if he was a happy drunk or an angry drunk.... who am I kidding, they're all the same after a few drinks, lolz
Why is there no "all of the above" option? I've been riding the street for 19 years now(since I was 16) and I think I've had at least one stupid get-off or tip-over due to each one of those.
A woman bumped me from behind and knocked me over at a stop light.
A man hesitated at a yield sign in front of me when I had looked back momentarily to check traffic, and I turned around just in time to see my upper smash into his pickup's tailgate.
Hit a speedbump while showing off in a parking lot and pitched it, right in front of a big crowd of girls. THAT was REALLY embarrassing.
Rode through a construction area and bent a rim. While looking down to inspect the damage, my foot slid in some gravel and I fell over at a dead stop.
Ran over a Chihuahua going about 15mph in a neighborhood. Ended up saving it but scratched my lower on a curb, which I didn't notice until later. The dog survived. Had I known about the scratch at the time, he probably wouldn't have.(just kidding, of course)
Just had a heartbreaker of a low side. On a damp Saturday evening, the roads were drying, and I started to make a left hand turn, in a parking lot at about 10 MPH and happened to initiate that turn on a giant painted arrow on the pavement. It was over before I knew what happened.
I can race around a track at high speeds, but the mistakes happen in a parking lot. Go figure. I guess that's why I have been paying insurace.
Hey Pilota, haha... sorry man... next poll bro, I'll have an All of the Above choice in memory of your stories....
Also, Drewbrese... don't these daamn accidents always happen at low speed? I guess we have the man upstairs to thank for that... better than a 100MPH crash any day of the week!
how about damn near head on with a semi truck?
Don't know, was it self inflicted where you strayed into oncoming truck or was it a female bull dike truck driver? lol
