Except that still isn't it.
Just another photoshop guess.

Like a man....I got a lil premature with my jonesing over the naked 1098....I came to reality after I remembered that durn battery hanging on the other side and covering the motor and no easy place for it to go with pipes under the seat. I guess it could be squeezed some way behind a whole new shaped headlight cowling. Sure no place to put it under the seat like a monster. Maybe it could be hid in the gas tank. For a in town rider a smaller capacity tank is not much of a problem for the sake of good looks?
I am back to my original thoughts on the first pic shown of what a new street bike could look like. Hopefully they will give the buyers a muffler and foot peg bracket allowance and keep whats shown in Italy, if that s it.
I guess its me not smokin enough or to much?
I was thinking all along this was going to be at least a 1098 engine creation. They miss the boat on the Monster big time in my opinion letting it be the clean up motorcycle for their left over superbike engines......always behind. They need a Monster model equal to whatever Superbike is at the top the same time.
People would buy, just because its certainly more all round streetable than a Superbike.
StreetFighter is cool with different look...
I reckon they'll sell sh$t loads of them !!!
+1 on that.
I don't know... it could steal a slice of pie from the 1100 Monster...
Seen at Borgo Panigale factory :
I really don't like that kind of naked bikes...
Scoop leaked this night from Hell for Leather : http://hellforleathermagazine.com/2008/11/ducati-streetfighter-and-stree.html
I really do not like
Pierre, either you like naked bikes or you don't.
I don't know what enyone is expecting from this new bike but if you don't like this one, you probably don't like Brutales, Hypers, Shivers and so on, they all pretty much look the same! To me is another bike with a lot of potential! Just the mirrors HAVE to go!
I just see it as my next ex bike.
