Brooksy,
just remember, dealers (not all of them admittedly) are like hookers, they're in love with you until you pay them.

shit man! This is going to ruin Aprilia
Pro Italia will take care of you. I bought my 1098 from them over 2yrs ago and they were on top of everything.
Telling you Brooks,
you gotta watch em or you'll end up in a scene
just like

that was "the dude"
Honestly,
I can't remember the last time I've been pissed about something. I don't think the dealership want's me at their doorstep
Thanks for the reassurance
Big Labowski FTW
Sorry 'bout the recall Brooksy..
Does this mean a buncha shipping to the ape dealer down from AK?
I figured in Alaska you guys would be into all sorts of suped-up snowmobiles. They're kind of like motorcycles...
Aprilia FTW!
I just received another call from Alex Frantz with Piaggio Group out of California.
He explained that since there are no trained RSV4 technician in this area (All of Alaska), they may possibly send a team up here with the engine and do the swap at the closest dealership, which is in Anchorage. Obviously more cost effective than sending my bike back down to the lower 48.
He said this might be the case for all RSV4s purchased in or shipped to geographically-displaced location.
Oh, and he took down my jacket size
Say what you want, but Aprilia is on the ball!
Brooksy, that is bar none the best treatment I have ever heard regarding a company and their customers!
I've been drooling over the RSV4-Factory since the first photos leaked the same way I did with my 848. I just haven't completely convinced myself thatI need two exclusive bikes in the garage, but seeing this type of
character in a company is doing a lot to sway me into a dealership!
Good luck, buddy! I hope she holds out fine through the riding season. Then when winter hits, you can drive the bike down and have it fixed and stored for free till next year.
