Would like to see a pic once you have fitted it.
Where did you get it, and how much was it please?

ordered it and received it the same week.
expensive, but a lot better quality than some of the others I have had. I am waiting on my exhaust so the tail looks funny right now with just the melotti, but here you go.
it also comes with part to mount turn signals to either side of the plate if you choose. The light itself is nice as it is billet and not plastic.
+1.
This is a quality piece of work, and makes number plate removal a single-bolt affair (so long as you use quick-connectors on the wires!)
Got mine through CIA (ie - Ozducati)

thanks JDW.. yes, the Melotti is a nice one, have one on my 1198s as well.. mine has the plate light as standard....
I didn't even think to put on quick connectors for the light....doh
just patch some in and hide behind the plate, that way is easy to remove the plate holder and plate etc if you have a track day or whatever
had a pm asking about the install, so thought I would just throw up pics on this thread.
The melotti mounts to the fender bracket from the top side, not the bottom like most other kits. So, you need to remove the bracket off the bike, mount the melotti, then mount the bracket back on. There are a couple of the silver metal tabs inside the bracket that the stock fender makes use of that you need to remove.
if you have the light for the license plate it mounts like this:
the wires from the light should follow in the groove on the back side of the melotti. You need to splice them into the stock wiring system. I cut off the plug running from my old fender light and spliced the light to this plug. That way you are not altering any wiring on the bike itself and it will just plug in like the original. (sorry no pics of that). You can use quick connectors to splice to if you want to be able to remove the license plate easily or you can use butt connectors if you don't care. I then wrapped the wires in red electrical tape and zip tied to the fender kit. I didn't use the turn signals since I have an integrated blinker. If the light doesn't work after you splice you probably need to reverse your wires! Finished product looks like this:
