At $10.00 a quart I don't think I'll be changing my oil at every 600 miles, I've had my bike 3 weeks I would have changed the oil 3 times as of today. I use Harley SNC 3 Oil good for tranny also.

That's a lot of oil to be going through.
To get back on your valve topic mine needed an adjustment at 6000 miles.
My first break-in service I adjusted mine, but they were in factory spec...good luck....
You do valve adjustments, too?
...that's a lot of beer, hot wings, lassagna, and cheese cake I'm gonna owe you.
Dear Wild Wolf . I Am A Suzuki Only Dealer And After Doing A Coulple Of Hundered C-50 Valave Adjustments I Can Say That About 1 Out Of Every 10 We Have Found Lose Valves. Manily Exhaust Side. If It Were Mine I Would Aleast Chek Them.
I do my valves every winter or at the recommended interval. Whichever comes first. What else am I gonna do when it snows?
I get to the recommended interval ... at least by every winter.
I have friends like Dr. Bob..to help me. Besides, it's more fun to ride 6 hours to Atlanta and hang out with friends than sit in my garage wondering if I'm doing something right. :bluethum:
I do too. But what I was saying is they get done over the winter regardless.
Well, I don't have an "over the winter" time period....
...I'm sure the valves are screaming for somebody to look at them...but alas nobody has yet since I've had the bike.
