With the inverted front forks the M50 would be considered the better handling motorcycle... Theoretically.

My brother in law has the C50. Things I don't wouldn't like about the C, is that the speedometer on the gas tank. Eyes go to low to view it. Spoked rims, foot boards. The M50 is a modern power cruiser design, the C50 is legacy design. I like modern designs more.
Personally i like the style of the C50 ONLY because of the rear fender. Other then that the M50 beats the C50 10 fold. and i will beat any of you C50's in a race ;-) oh and if your interested, after your comfortable with your bike the M50 can totally do a wheelie. I have even 12 O'clocked mine (scared the crap outta me the first time, thought i was gonna go over backwards)
Anyways your profile says you got the M50 so good choice. Your gonna love it!
I can,t get but about 3or 4 inches out of my c but it will do a heck of a burn out. lots of tire smoke. ha ha
ha, i cant get mine to burn out. not enough front weight i think. i have held my front break and sat on my tank and no luck lol. i think i'd rather burn out then wheelie lol but oh well.
the thread has become "how to burn out a 10 k tire in 900 miles or less."
I didn't burn out and my rear tire is pushing total extinction in 6K. Ordered new Pirellis yesterday.
ya i never burned out and mine started showing thread at about 5, i dont remember what i put on it and my girl is yelling at me to get off the comp cause we gotta go do some crap (its only 7am here!). Freakin women! lol.
Well, to be honest, if my choice was between the C50 and M50, I'd opt for the definitely faster and more stylish S50. :lol4:
I've got two friends locally with the C50 & M50...and have put them both to shame (as I should) speedwise. The one that had the C50 also has a Busa. He finally gave up on the C50 and sold it.
I saw an 800 intruder for sale not that long ago; thought about buying it.
