S83 / C50 Mileage

Good day all,

For those who have a Suzuki S83 or C50, I am looking for the approximate MPG / MPL for these two models. If in MPG please state the reference Gallon.

I typically get 43 MPG on my '05 S83. Strange, but I can count on having to switch to reserve at 129 miles almost every time. Very little of my riding would be considered "city".

On my C50 the light comes on at 150 to 158 miles...50 to 53 MPG. Depends on how I ride it.

I currently have an S40 and looking at upgrading. It's interesting to see that the mileage you are getting with these bigger engines are very comparable to the S40.

Stock it was the same for me 50-53 depending on how I drove it...Just finished installing K&N filter, cobra fi2000r, and v&h straightshots...Trying to dial in the processor and then will see what the mileage works out as...

If I push it hard (hit the interstate, wind it up to 75-80Mph, don't look back for 100 miles), it drops to 46-48.

Going on my 4th tank been getting about 50- 54 MPG

I bought my S83 in July, and after having the carbs adjusted (it was running too lean), I have been getting between 45 and 50 mpg. Most of my riding is between home and work. 12 miles highway and 5 miles city. I was getting about 30 mpg
