So sick of the WHINING!!!!! Please Help.?

My 3.5 yr old girl is SO whiny!!!! GAH!!!! Every time she asks me for something, it's in a whining voice. The sound of it is driving me nuts lol. I have tried the whole "Mommy doesn't hear whining" thing and tried to ignore it but she's one stubborn girl. Any suggestions from parents of whiny children would be hugely appreciated!!!
Perhaps I should note she didn't do this until her brother was born 3 months ago....so is it maybe just a phase????

She wants attention. Try spending some time with her each day. If she doesnt stop, sned her to her room. And DESPITE what people think, it is alright to SPANK your children, as long as you understand where the line is!!!!!
But try sending her to her room. You can also ask her for help to do "Big Girl" things, like feed the baby (she'll probably just sit beside you and touch the bottle), or sweep th efloor.

You're kind of beating around the bush. She knows you can hear her, she doesn't put 2 and 2 together. be BLUNT "Do ... not ... whine. ask like a big girl"

I had the same problem with my son when his little brother was born. It is a phase. Try to make her feel needed. Let her help when you change diapers or feed the baby. It's important that she feels like she has your attention. And she'll grow out of it. It didnt take long for our son. He just needed to adjust. Good luck.
