AutoCAD is not only used in industry, but in the entertainment and advertising world to create visual 3D effects.

CAD and AutoCAD use a system of algorithms to manipulate primitive objects into a desired shape. Meshes are formed using a system of points and vector lines on an XYZ axis to enable 3D drawing. The images created, called vectors, can be manipulated in size and orientation. The programs can also manipulate bitmap images through utilizing digital pixels.

CAD software not only produces images, but also provides documentation and material reports. A drafter has the advantage of being able to test the design before it is implemented. This allows drafters to analyze the integrity of the design in various conditions prior to presenting to a customer.

In a word, CAD including AutoCAD, AutoCAD is a kind of CAD, so both of them include dwg and dxf files, and they are widely used nowadays, but both of them can not be viewed on different computer systems. thus, it is inconvenient for people to share their dwg or dxf files to others.
