Is a bicycle with gears okay for a 7 year old? I am getting my 7 year old son a size 20 mountain bike. The option with gears is also available. The cycle shop owner told me the one with gears is better as my son will probably use the bike until he is 10 years old. The price of this option is almost 60% more than the one without gears. Need to decide today so please help out
