6170 data cable not working That's the same with mine. Back to poster's problem. Is your Nokia Suite the latest one? If not try downloading that version. The Nokia Suite included with the phone is out dated. Also try going to the site of the cable company and see if you need to download any drivers. Hope that helps.

6170 data cable not working Have you tried to dl a driver? Some phones need a driver so that PC Suite can reconize it. It happened to me and after I did that it worked....hopefully it'll work for you.
