Help w Handle Bars on Road King Had my Dealer install the HD SE FLHRC bars on my 08 about a month after I bought it. Made a huge difference.... But so did the hydraulic clutch.
Help w Handle Bars on Road King
Help w Handle Bars on Road King +1 on that. Ran em on my Heritage for a few yrs. Too much angle. All day in the saddle is like all day roto tilling
Help w Handle Bars on Road King Got an 07 Road King Classic and have had the 518's for a few years now. Did an 1800 mile and a 1300 mile this summer and they were very comfortable. Best bars that I've had.
Help w Handle Bars on Road King I just put Heritage bars on my 09 RK and I love them and Im thinking about putting some on my 09 RG!
Help w Handle Bars on Road King I put the WO 14" apes on and I love them great hand position and great seat position it allowed me to sit further back which required a different seat, and made me really comfortable, overall was an expensive switch. I would suggest for those looking to fix the lean over problem that is associated with the Road Kings, figure out where they want to sit with the seat, and buy bars that allow them to reach them comfortably from there. I always felt like I was sitting on top of the tank with a sundowner, and but it alleviated some of the back pain from leaning over. I wanted to sit back and the bars and seat made the bike a perfect fit for me.
Help w Handle Bars on Road King I have a set of heritage bars that came of a 2004 that I bought off ebay. I was going to put them on my 02 Road King Classic, but the indy that I use had a set in his shop that he's going to put on my bike. I will take $60.00 shipped to you if you're interested. I'm tired of having to constantly "lean forward." My middle back kills me after riding for a few hours.
Help w Handle Bars on Road King I've used those 518 bars, they are very comfortable but on long rides they killed my wrists because of the cocked angle they are at I then removed those and put a set of 12" apes on and I really like them so far, have gone on as long as a 6 hr ride with no trouble. Handlebars are a crap shot you never know what's going to work for you.
Help w Handle Bars on Road King Heritage bars are an inexpensive fix for most, if comfort is all you want. For comfort, custom look and internal wiring I went with the WO515. A little wider than Heritage but I like em. Next bar change will be 16" apes but for what this bar swap set me back, they're going to stay awhile.
Help w Handle Bars on Road King Heritage bars, $79, worth a try, worked for me on my 07 RKC, just bought a set to put on the Dyna today.
Help w Handle Bars on Road King Whats up guys? I've been researchin and readin til my freakin heads splittin. I have a 03 FLHRCI ann ed. I'm 6'3" and I've heard WO518 are comfortable and ive heard the wo515 (10" mini apes) are comfy too. I know it all depends on the rider, just wanted to get some more insight. I'm havin a hard time findin a local shop to try out the different bars. Thanks ya'll! Colby
