If I had donated, I'd be pissed and would definitely not sing their praises anywhere. I'm glad they're gone if that's all the site was really about, ie profit. A point I tried to make was that it wasn't the site that made ScT great, but the users, many of whom are now at SCC.

At the risk of sounding like a total moron, does it actually matter what personality the people running the place entertain? I know that having a good staff lineup usually enhances the whole experience. There's multiple trackers where I can joke with staff members or even insult the tracker (or a problem with it) to their face, and they don't even get angry, more like have a discussion about it. However, there are other dictatorial places, where I just avoid the staff (come to think of it, I haven't been in swarms there for over a year, but I still lurk the forums). What I'm trying to point out is, good staff help the website grow, but bad staff wouldn't affect a thing, you can just avoid them, no?
