Haven't enjoyed the past two series like I used to .

Perhaps it's because I missed the series before last and haven't really been following it properly since missing every other episode last series but I don't laugh out loud half as much as I did during the first few series. I still find it funny just not that funny.

Will try and watch them again at some point, without missing any out and see if that changes my enjoyment of the next series (assuming there is one).

I've been watching this for years and in my opinion it's one of the most underrated shows on TV. Plus the fact it's really consistent. I do love Jenny and Brian

I love this show but missed the first episode as I didn't even know it was on! I've got the others recorded so far but doesn't make sense to watch them and not the first

Ideal is such a classy show. Brilliantly written by Graham Duff, funny and very strong comedy rising out the surreal situations. Johnny Vegas and the great ensemble cast have perfect comic rhythm. The most consistently lustrous jewel in BBC3's crown, by a distance.

Yep, Ideal's brilliant. Pleased it's back on. Loved yesterday's episode.

It'll be jostling for space on the Sky+ given the return of New Zealand soap Shortland Street to the UK from Monday. 2 brilliant shows at once from next week, not to mention Derrick's the gardener's breakfast show on local radio.

I didn't even realise that the new series was starting last night, I just stumbled across it but so glad I did - I love Ideal. Good to have it back.
