Cheaters at double bass You can use loop pedals to make what you're playing sound far more complex than it really is. You can also use trill peddles to sound faster than you really are. Really, it is no different.

I guess I think triggers are a bit cheaty if you're just using it to do whatever it is you do a bit easier. If you use it to free up a foot so that you can add more to what you're doing, then I don't think it's cheating .. Everything is relative.

Now the "heel toe method" is something I can't stress enough... Have you seen this? Blew me away! Half the work and/or double the results...outstanding.
Cheaters at double bass Its not cheating in any way. What you save in the amount of work your legs do you have to make up for in the precision of your timing. If your double bass rolls sound like crap with regular pedals they're gonna sound even worse with a ghost pedal.
