Car [Firebird 1999] got Stuck Deep in Sand Now Engine Acting Choppy.? The rear wheels of my car got stuck up to about 6 inches in sand. While I was trying to get it there was a kind of burnt smell.I finally got my car out but now if I go over 50-60 miles per hour my engine get really choppy. And has the near the feeling when you run out of gas. The oil, battery, and temperature are normal though. I am going to take it to the mechanic in the morning but I just want to know what is wrong and if it serious. I am in college right not and am rather broke.
