Can I take pepto bismol everyday. I get awful diarrhea a lot & that is the only medication that works for me?

I eat a good diet with fruits and vegatables and grains chicken fish, but still seem to get diarrhea. I have seen many drs and they give me different medications for it but didnt work and in return constipated for a week. And the pepto bismol works like a charm and helps with my diarrhea and doesnt constapate me for a week and regulates my irratable bowel syndrome. I take 2-3 tablespoons a day. 4 at the max but rarely I will do that. Thanks.
