    They were talking about this on NPR the other night.

    Much of Alabama is poor and those holdouts who refused to go on government assistance for a long time were finally pushed into it due to the severe tornado outbreaks of this Spring destroying their towns, employers and homes.

    All the statistics around SNAP are incredible.
