can you ovulate 1-5 days before your period, if you have a regular cycle?

ive been having cramps and a lot of discharge (sorry, tmi) and im due my period any day now. any day from friday to tuesday (its sunday on day of writing this..) the past two months ive spotted a day or two before my period. i have had absolutely no spotting. i keep thinking my period is on its way and keep rushing to the bathroom to find its quite a bit of discharge instead :S

i dont usually have this, like i said, i usually spot, and when i get my period i dont even realise. ill pop to the toilet and be like "huh what do you know".
so wondering if there is any chance, for some reason this month, i have ovulated a few days before my expected period? i keep having cramps and ive had pms for like, 2 weeks!

my cycle is 31 days. im almost 22.
