    In what ways might have Mao's Cultural Revolution destroyed China's sense of humor?

    I'm working on a satirical political cartoon, and could use some input, such as:
    Who is the greatest clown in China's history? Is there a caricature of this person's image available?

    Of course, I am presuming the Chinese HAD a sense of humor before that CCP-proscribed event.
