    Richie War.

Is the wind one of the main reasons why fire spreads so wild into other areas that it harms more than good?

Just like the bombing of Tokyo in the night of March 9/10, 1945, the B-29s dropped incendiary bombs into the military and urban areas. Mostly because of the wind, fire spreads out to wild into other areas that the wind puts more harm than the good. So what if there was a strong wind like the hurricane, would it make things much worser and worser?

2nd Question: Even today, would emegency services have the technology to put out the fires?
