Atheists, can you help me refute this? "Consider this piece of wisdom; since mankind has been the same for millennia why weren't there any empires, civilizations, or written records 8000 years ago? Why wasn't there a Rome 15,000 years ago? Why did humans all over the world suddenly at the same time discover writing, science, arts, and form civilizations around 6000 years ago? Why didn't any humans 10,000 years ago form a city?" I am an atheist, by the way, and I am quoting this from what I've heard from somebody else. I know that it is nonsense, but I just don't know how to sum it up in a rather short response.
Atheists, can you help me refute this?
