These are NOT new they've been avail forever all you needed to do was mention the ''fido'' plans and they would have unleashed these for you, ina any case still a rip off, I do data support for ATT and they get Unlimited BIS/Internet (aka MEdiaNET) for $29.99 a mnth, till rogers comes up with that, I have my gmail cod files installed to check my email and I have my Opera Browser installed suckin up their 10MB for $10 Mobile Navigate package.

The money goes straight to their pocket. They don't need humility.

What a rip-off. And they are "proud" of it too, what a slap in the face. Think they would show a little humility while they gouge their clients.

At last rogers party, some rogers heads were there and i talked about those way too high prices for data usage. Yes, the prices will go down.

On a side note.. If enough of us can join together I'm sure we can send a pretty solid petition to Rogers requesting rate changes. With enough support I'm confident we could actually make a wave. Stranger things have happened.

I've heard from a reliable source at Rogers head office that the data plans will be taking a pretty serious plunge soon. People are starting to complain very frequently and in a recent interview with the National Post Mr.B from RIM mentioned how confused he was as to why the Data charges in Canada are so high. His comments have made some ripples, hopefully we get to see some change before 2008.

And the plans are still business plans... When is the consumer getting a decent data plan?

Also is there a link to this? I tried to find it on the Rogers site and it isn't there as far as I can see...
