I didnt know he was in the new bourne film but I didnt notice him in Hot Fuzz either untill my mate pointed him out. I loved Dead Mans Shoes and have been telling all my mates to watch it. I will be definatly be going to see Shane Meadows new film This Is England!

By the way I didnt guess the twist in Dead Mans Shoes!

Yes and kudos to Film4 to keeping the breaks to a minimum. This film would really have suffered from an ITV style 'break every 15 minutes'.

I noticed that Paddy Considine is in the new Bourne film, a fairly major part

I watched too last night. Thought it was brilliant, but saw the twist coming a mile away. Probably because these twists have been done to death on modern films. Didnt spoil it for me, still managed to enjoy such a gritty film.
Thanks Film 4 for showing it.

Sorry for the necro, but rather than start another thread, thought I'd use this one.

This film was on last night on Film4. I am glad I stayed up to watch it, what an excellent film! Paddy Considine was utterly mesmerising as the hard as nails brother, and the plot/ script was superb with a twist I didn't see coming.

    Top marks!!

Indeed it is Paddy Considine who plays the older brother.

Anyone who liked this film, should track down 'A Room for Romeo Brass' which was the first (Shane)Meadows/Considine movie. Hard to believe it was Considiine's debut. A movie which turns 180 degrees halfway in and leaves you breathless at the end!

omg! This is an amazing film! We found it by accident and its so much better than what you expect. I love the gritty realism of the film. The scummy characters and scenes are truly believable - people and scenes you know could be so real

If its the older brother then i agree with you, i bow down. His steely nerves when he is talking to the bloke when theyre hunting him after getting out the beetle ("I got you right here in the palm of my 'and" or whatever it was)... my god, he scared me, more than any horror film could.

If you aint seen it, i swear it will be the best

I can't understand why Paddy Considine isn't a bigger star?
He has made some good movies like 'A Room for Romeo Brass', 'Last Resort', '24hr Party People', 'In America' and of course 'Dead Man's Shoes!

Has anyone heard of a new movie called 'BackwooRAB' in which Paddy stars with Gary Oldman. The plot is similar to 'Deliverance'!

At last managed to get this movie at the weekend.
