The police picked up a friends brother at their house for a parole violation and they kept my friends cell?
They decided to search my friends locked room after they already had his brother in custody(search was not legal, but besides the point). the police decided that they were going to take my friends cell phone, and in order to get it back he was told to contact the arresting officer after his brothers hearing?? What grounds would they have to take his phone?
