Tough physics problem with electric charge? A 0.020 g plastic bead hangs from a lightweight thread. Another bead is fixed in position beneath the point where the thread is tied. If both beads have charge q, the moveable bead swings out to a 45 degree angle away from the fixed bead on the ground. What is charge q? The beads are now .05 m apart from each other.
