How long does it take to get an approval from USDA on a home loan? I'm currently living in San Antonio Texas And have been up and down with buying a new home. Our paperwork was done since nov 9 2012 it had been sitting I guess on the desk of the loan officer and was finally sent and approved by the underwriter 2 and a half weeks ago. It's was then sent to the USDA for final approval two weeks ago from Wednesday dec 26th we were expected to close no later than dec 28 (tomorrow) but haven't gotten it back from USDA can anyone please tell me how long it morally takes to get the approval from USDA... We keep having to try and change our moving arrangements because it keeps getting pushed back someone please HELLPPP!!!
