How can we have "bad desires"? We don't have bad desires. We just go to extremes to satisfy our cravings and desires. Hunger, thirst, sleep, comfort, shelter, security, fun, entertainment, feeling loved wanted and appreciated are not in themselves "bad desires". We are programmed to want to survive (are we "programmed"? Why do we want to survive? ) - and these are to some extent essential to our survival. The problem arises when we think that its okay to hurt/harm others in order to satisfy these desires. So, the main problem is being ignorant of the fact the we are all One? Is that the root of all evil?
How can we have "bad desires"?
