It all depends on how well it was cared for in the first 60k if it wasn't driven hard and had good maintenance.then its still like new if it was abused the its life is probably more than 1/2 over
If it's only got 60K on it, that's ridiculously low. The car will rust out long before the engine gives up. Still, there are many service items that should be considered on age instead of mileage. Most important is the engines timing belt. If this breaks, your engine is toast. It's a $500 job to replace it, but it is past due. While they have things apart, I'd have the mechanic replace the accessory belts and the coolant hoses. All are due and will leave you stranded if they blow. IF you take good care fo this car, the engine will go 250K before you have serious reliability problems. Astrobuf
