I recently bought a panasonic GH3 and it won't import to adobe premiere?

I can shoot in AVCHD or MOV. Obviously i'm going to shoot im MOV, because 1) it'll have a higher bit rate and thus high quality. 2) it'll be easier to edit with. Am I right?

Why isn't it importing to Adobe premiere. I'm extremely confused. Can someone give me some advice?

    Here's what i'm doing.

I'll record (with iResolution on high)

take the SD card out and put it into my macbook pro

I then open premiere and my SD card pops up on the side

    I go to private--then MOV

after that there is nothing in the file.

When i try to import with FCP X it works fine.
    I'm using CS6 and shooting with 72 MB/S
