I change mine often, usually it is one of my children,me or a graphic I made.I don't think any differently of someone who has no picture or a picture of their self or even a random picture..

Ohh... I miss my son being my avatar photo!!!
But since I dont have a computer at home, and I am at work, I cant upload another one!
And the stupid yahoo updates made my son diasappear and Im stuck with my bug eyed, bubble lip chick. Lol
I miss my son being there, I could see him all day while I was working!! Im thinkin of going by my moms this weekend and re-uploading pictures lol
So monday you will get to see the brodster again =]

    ANd to answer your questions!!
I notice and remember people with photos alot more than the cartoon people.. It doesnt bug me if they dont change it, but I do love to see everyones babes

I only switched to an avatar because they changed the default. If the hadn't I would still have it. I don't pay much attention to that stuff.

Avatar I've had since I've started - I just changed the hair when I grew it longer.
When answering, doesn't matter a whit to me - I rarely look at the avatar, pic, or name... it's all about the question.

I use my own face, because it uniquely identifies me as me -- and if you're ever in the DC Metro area and happen to spot me on the train, you can just come up to me and say, "Hey -- Reverend Soleil!"

    eli's mommy....(rosie)
I have my son's picture so that I can look at him all day while I'm at work

I do tend to notice answers more with people who have pictures...and remember them moreso that the cartoon avatar or smiley faces!

I used to have an actual photo of myself until they did away with 360. Now I am just too lazy and imcompetent when it comes to computers to try to figure out how to put up another picture. This cartoon avatar is something that I just played around with a long time ago and Y!A automatically put it up since my real photo was no longer existent. I don't really like the default smiley's, but oh well. Real pictures or cartoon avatars don't bug me and it doesn't really matter to me.

I use an avatar for privacy reasons, which i guess is silly since i have a myspace and facebook but those are set to private and i only except people i know in real life.
But i am a real person answering questions with my honest opinions and all my questions pertain to my life and real questions i have.
I often wonder if people don't take people with avatars or smiley faces seriously though because it seems impersonal.
