if your on the 2 year deal then it will charge you full price for the phone no matter what because you are only 1.5 years until you get a new phone at discount price. if you wait half a year until you can get a new phone, then you will get the 2-year agreement price which is usually a huge deal.

Are you actually up for an upgrade? To get any special deals, you have to ready to upgrade your phone. You can contact Verizon to see.

If you are not ready for an upgrade, getting the Alias will be more expensive...you'll have to pay retail.

Do you have insurance on the phone you lost? If so, you can make a claim and get another phone (same model as the one you lost) with a $50 deductible.

If you dont have insurance, you'll have to either find another phone somewhere or just wait till you are ready for an upgrade.

    Verizon Wireless Cell Phone Question?

I have recently lost my cell phone from verizon wireless, and i was about 1 and one half years through my plan. (My family is in a plan that they each have cell phones and unlimited calls and texts.) I need a new phone and have been looking at the Samsung Alias. With Verizon's new deal, i can get the Alias free online. How much will it cost to upgrade to the alias? And will i get any discount because of my family's phone plan?
the deal ends in a day, and any quick information now is greatly appreciated
