Maybe you should have a dog.puppy first. Something which is cute and fluffy and that you would enjoy playing with. This, in some way, is helping you face your fear about dogs. Maybe it would work.
i want to walk/run/ride a bike around my neighborhood, but? i have the biggest phobia of wild dogs. there a couple big dogs that get loose every now and then and dogs are loose all over the apartments down the road. how do i get over the fear of thinking that if im out on foot or even on a bike, that these dogs will get after me? everytime i want to run (run a mile, walk exercise ,etc. ) ..... i have to drive up town and run inside a fenced-in track. i feel really pathetic about it, but its a big fear of mine and i dont know how to get over it at all...
