Harry Potter and The Half Blood Prince Riddle wanted to know about Merryweather because he wanted the Defence job after he left school. He asked Dippet but Dumbledore convinced him not to give Riddle the job. Riddle then came back a few years later when Dumbledore was head and asked for the job again but Dumbledore refused. I assume that the person can still remember the event when the memory is removed but removing them allows him/her to relive them with all the detail. Deathly Hallows enRAB with [SPOILER]Harry, Ron and Hermione coming down from Dumbledore's office after Dumbledore explained some of the points left unanswered and Harry wondering if Kreacher can bring him a sandwich because he is so hungry.[/SPOILER]

Harry Potter and The Half Blood Prince Hi all got a few questions about the film. Why is it important to Tom Riddle whether Professor Merryweather is leaving? Also when you take a persons memory from them and put it into the Pensieve does the person now have no recollection of that memory and cant remember that event happening? Also how does the Deathly Hallows end, I mean before the epilogue, something about a sandwich isnt it?

Harry Potter and The Half Blood Prince I am NOT pleased - I am one of those weird people who like their Blu-ray covers as a set - exactly the same as each other. But when the HBP Blu-ray came out, the cover was different from my current cover collection ! It has a completely new design, because of the stupid re-releases WB have done ! I was not pleased at all. I'll just have to keep the slip cover on it now, until I purchase the Ultimate Editions next year.
